A wedding between Puerto Rico and France Oh la la

Love has no colors, form or nationality. That's the reason why, it can transcend time and space even the long continental distances.

My year started with magic. Living experiences that I never thought before. I have been blessed for being chosen as my lovely cousin's wedding photographer. Saida Caballero Nieves and her husband, the young French man, Jeremy Riousset.


Saida was very young when she moved from Puerto Rico. She and her family were to conquer their goals in the land of dreams. But we never lost contact. When they visit the island, she always took time to visit us. I've always admire my cousins, but Saida fills my heart in a special way. She is a dreamer, an explorer who is seeking in the sky for the truth. I'm pretty sure my "titi" (aunt) a woman of faith, planted that seed on Saida.


Her astronomer eyes, has discovered new stars, her mind has understood part of this infinite universe and that has connected me with life. Knowing that we have part of the same blood and the stars lights that she studies, could be the lights of understanding, not just for us, but for the whole world.


I remember when Sylvia, her sister, and my other lovely cousin, called to let me know Saida wanted me to be her wedding photographer, was a real surprise. That day was when I knew Saida "will bring" a French Science Profesor to our family. So I thought our family is getting more international. Not just for this new marriage but also with my other cousin (Jesus Caballero) who got married with a beautiful woman from China.


The love of this couple is special. From the first moment I saw them together I knew they were made from each other. Jeremy is a cool and fun guy, is easy to notice he loves to make Saida happy. I believe, he is the perfect complement for Saida. A perfect equation between intelligence and social skills based on affection and mutual respect. Jeremy has a trustworthy women, with moral values and big heart.
